Narmada is a children’s book which employs images and texts to talk about the river Narmada and the lives of the various people around it. The photographs in the book were clicked by Parthiv Shah and it was written by Vidya Shah. The book was published by Pratham Books in multiple languages.
The project involved a workshop at the Bookaroo Festival of Children’s Literature, which included a book-reading, performances of the songs from the Ghaati and a presentation of the photographs. The workshop with children was a successful one with a lot of interaction.
