CMAC works in the field of culture, design and media. Its role has been to create an interface between artists from different genres, to facilitate and to provide a platform for production, cultural exchange of art and ideas, and dialogue in the visual and performing arts. A key objective of the organization is conceptualizing and implementing specially designed productions mounted on excellent technological skills. Over nearly a decade the organization has developed projects and campaigns through different art practices such as new media design, performance, video, public and community based art and dialogue, sound and other experimental modes of cultural production.

CMAC is looking for Multi Media Designers (Graphic and Web) and Project Officer . There is an ample opportunity and interesting work from performances, web, exhibition, print, films, radio, interactive media etc.  Persons with relevant qualification and experience can send in their resume to:

Job Description


Graphic Designer

The Centre for Media and Alternative Communication (CMAC), New Delhi, is looking for a Graphic Designer.

The candidates skilled in design softwers such as InDesign, Photoshop, Page Maker, Flash, Illustrator, and Corel Draw will be preferred. S/he will be collaborating with Interaction Designers, Researchers and Developers to provide visual solutions.

Experience- 1-3 yrs (Fresher with relevant skills and keen interest in the field may apply)

Remuneration: Based on skills and experience.
Location: The positions will be based at the CMAC office in Delhi.

Programme Associate-Media

Job Description: Work under supervision of Programme Director and Programme Officer on:

a. Coordination of all activities of current projects
b. Content development pertaining to the project
c. Working closely with the Film, Radio Production and Web team
d. Liaising with communities on the field
e. Networking with partner organizations

 Candidate Profile
a. Qualification - Masters in Social Sciences/ Mass Communication and Journalism/Gender Studies/Arts and Culture Management, Film/ Video and radio Production

b. Experience - Minimum one year work experience in managing art/culture/internet/communication projects
c. Skills - Excellent fieldwork skills, strong communication skills (verbal and written), computer proficient in FCP, Premier Pro, Audio software and internet savvy. Technical skills and creativity in Film, Video and Radio production will be a plus.
