The “CHARCA” project is a joint partnership between government, NGOs, donors, and the UN System (ILO, UNDP, UNESCO, UNFPA, UNICEF, UNIFEM, UNODC, WHO and UNAIDS). It seeks to address the feminization of HIV and move towards the empowerment of women. CMAC has been documenting (through film, print and advocacy programs) women’s vulnerability to HIV in India.
